      The frame is made from high quality extruded aluminum with reinforced internal walls for extra support. Each frame is hand-welded and then inspected for both strength and appearance. The Frames are then hand-sanded and polished prior to finishing.

      Woven with precision, Phifertex Sling Fabrics effectively fuse the elements of the latest design trends with exceptional performance. Phifertex fabrics are built to withstand the elements, to be maintenance free, and are infused with Microban antimicrobial product protection to help prevent the growth of stain-and odor-causing bacteria, mold, and mildew on the fabric. Built to last, Phifer Sling is sure to give you many years of enjoyment.

      Warranty:

      Panama Jack's Manufactures warranty covers the aluminum frame for a period of 3 years from purchase date, with additional coverage for weld failure for a period of 7 years from purchase date. Phifer sling is warranted against separation and tearing for 1 year from purchase date.  Please see the warranty tab for more detailed information.

      Thank you for choosing Panama Jack outdoor furniture.  With proper use and care, we are confident that our product will provide you with years of trouble free enjoyment.  Your furniture comes with a limited warranty against manufacturer defects.  Standard warranty periods for each category of furniture are provided below. 

      Extruded Aluminum Furniture
       3 Year warranty for residential applications
       1 Year warranty for commercial applications

      Woven Fiber “Viro Brand”
       3 Year warranty for residential applications
       1 Year warranty for commercial applications

      Sling Fiber “Twitchell Brand”
       1 Year warranty for residential or commercial applications 

      Teak Furniture
       3 Year warranty for residential applications
       1 Year warranty for commercial applications

      Umbrellas / Bases
       1 Year warranty for residential applications 

      Panama Jack will repair, or at our discretion, replace any part of the product or the entire product if it is defective in material or workmanship.  Should a repair be necessary, photographs and proof of the defect is required for replacement and/or repair.  Please contact your Pelican Reef sales representative for an inspection promptly after receiving the product if a problem is evident.

      This warranty does not cover freeze damage within the frames.  Any indication of abnormal or abusive use of the product will void this warranty.  Pelican Reef does not recommend that furniture be placed in an upside down position, as water may seep through the drain holes. Teak weathering process takes place when left outside will form a silver-gray patina and takes place after a few months depending on the amount of rain and sun exposure.

      If you prefer to keep the teak golden color, we recommend using a teak protector which is purely a cosmetic application and will need to be reapplied seasonally.

      Warranty is void for any of the following conditions:

      1. Improper maintenance or improper use resulting in damage.
      2. Any product modifications by dealer, consumer, or other parties not authorized by Pelican Reef
      3. Floor samples sold or products designated “as is” at the time of purchase are not covered by the warranty.
      4. Warranty does not cover minor variations or differences between floor samples or printed illustrations and the actual merchandise received.
      5. The cost of packaging and shipping to and from Pelican Reef is not covered by the warranty unless expressly arranged by Pelican Reef.
      6. This warranty covers only articles of furniture intended for residential use. It does not apply to damage from industrial, commercial, institutional, or rental use.
      7. Normal wear and tear under household use.
      8. Damages incurred during transportation.
      9. Damages incurred during assembling or maintenance.
      10. Damages incurred by high winds, accidents or abuse

      For items that are too large or fragile to be delivered via UPS, USPS and FedEx, we partner with carriers specializing in the transportation and delivery of Large Parcel freight. Shipping options will vary depending on the size of your item.

      For these oversized items, BetterPatio has built a national network of reliable, professional last mile service providers who assist in the unloading, delivery and set up of your BBQ Island and/or Outdoor Fireplace.

      What is BetterPatio's Free Curbside Delivery?

      Free curbside delivery is the method used on all our freight shipments unless other arrangements are made. The driver is only obligated to deliver curbside at the end of your driveway. It will be your responsibility to move it from there. This option is ideal for those who have support or equipment to assist in moving your items to your preferred destination. While it's entirely possible to move freight shipments without additional assistance, we recommend our additional delivery services for a seamless experience.

      Please note that Curbside Delivery is the only delivery option available with other retailers. If you do not have a way to lift heavy objects from your curb or driveway, please consider BetterPatio's Preferred Delivery options for a stress-free experience.

      What is BetterPatio's Premier (No Sweat) Delivery?

      No Sweat Delivery is BetterPatio's version of Premier White Glove delivery. We've partnered with a leading Last Mile Delivery provider to move your BBQ Island or Outdoor Fireplace to your preferred location (i.e. backyard, pool area). Highlights of BetterPatio's Premier (No Sweat) Delivery:

      • A single contact for your delivery questions and answers.
      • Opening and inspecting of your BBQ Island and/or Outdoor Fireplace prior to delivery appointment.
      • Appointment window of 2-4 hours.
      • Delivery is performed with a two-to-four person delivery team typically using a 20 to 24 foot box truck with lift gate capability.
      • Product is delivered to preferred location and set in place.
      • Order is uncrated, appliances and components unboxed and appliances placed as needed.
      • Removal of packing material debris including pallets and boxes.
      • Please note that the delivery team will not be equipped to perform plumbing installation, electrical wiring or services requiring the use of power tools. Leveling or additional grouting of islands is not included. Does not include additional equipment including forklifts, cranes or power jacks; stairs or steep inclines, or gate/fence removal.
      • Clear pathway must be accessible prior to delivery. 

      What is BetterPatio's Standard Preferred Delivery?

      BetterPatio will coordinate with a local service provider to move your items from your curb or driveway to your preferred destination. 

      • Freight carrier delivers your BBQ Island and/or Outdoor Fireplace curbside. Appointment required. Separate appointment required to move your items to your Preferred Location, usually within 48-72 hours.
      • Preferred Location delivery is performed with two-to-four delivery team members. 
      • Order is uncrated, appliances and components unboxed and appliances placed as needed.
      • Please note that the delivery team will not be equipped to perform plumbing installation, electrical wiring or services requiring the use of power tools. Leveling or additional grouting of islands is not included. Does not include additional equipment including forklifts, cranes or power jacks; stairs or steep inclines, or gate removal.
      • Clear pathway must be accessible prior to delivery.
