What delivery actually looks like

Curbside freight with a liftgate. The truck unloads at the end of your driveway. The driver is not able to bring it round the back or inside.

Moving it from there is on you. Local movers typically charge $400 to $600 for the last stretch. Piano movers and handyman services both do this work regularly.

Measure before you order. Check your gate width and side access against the line drawings. It is far cheaper to find a problem now than on delivery day.

Inspect before you sign. Count the pallets and note any damage on the delivery receipt before signing. Photograph anything questionable, refuse delivery if there is visible damage, and send us photos within 48 hours.
All orders ship with damage insurance. If something arrives damaged we file the freight claim with the carrier on your behalf and arrange the replacement, so you are not chasing it.
Every consultation includes a free 3D rendering of your kitchen in your actual space.

Mont Alpi Island Grills are the ultimate cooking station built to bring together your whole outdoor kitchen. These conglomerates of kitchen essentials are constructed of all 304 stainless steel components, include large cabinets, and beautiful white faux-granite waterfall counter tops.
The 805 Island Grill features as its centerpiece a 38-inch, 115,000 BTU Propane Gas Grill. The lid is double lined for superb heat retention and has a temperature gauge on front. The main cooking area measures 38 x 18 inches, and consists of 8mm stainless steel cooking grids.
A stainless steel warming rack is also standard. Beneath the cooking surface are 6 double layered stainless steel Heatwave flame tamers that provide even heat distribution and protect the 6 tubular stainless steel high-efficiency 12,000 BTU burners that sit beneath them.
A rear infrared rotisserie burner is included if you wish to add on an optional rotisserie kit down the line. The interior of the grill is lit by dual halogen lights, perfect for cooking after dark. The front control panel houses the control knobs, lit by blue LED light, the electronic ignition switch, and a bottle opener for having a drink while tending the grill.
The pull-out grease tray makes cleaning up after an afternoon of barbecuing a snap. Below the grill are two large easy-glide drawers, useful for storing tools, prep items, and more. On the left side of the island, built into the faux-granite counter top, is a ceramic infrared side burner complete with stainless steel cooking grid. It is height adjustable for extra temperature control.
This super-hot burner is perfect for searing, boiling, and heating large sauce pans. The two large side cabinets offer plenty of storage space, one with shelves and the other with a roll-out propane tank holder. Heavy duty caster wheels allow you to move your Island Grill into the perfect spot. The back two wheels lock, allowing you to secure it in place. The grill comes with a propane hose and regulator, but can be converted to natural gas easily.
Mont Alpi Island Grills come ready to impress your neighbors right out of the box. All you need to do is screw in the brackets that hold each unit together. Add-on modules are available if you need more options to enhance your outdoor living experience.

As soon as you place your order you will receive an order confirmation e-mail. This means that we have received your order in our system and the credit card charge was processed for the purchase. As soon as we receive your order we automatically reach out to our suppliers to confirm that it is in stock and available for immediate shipment.
If your item is on backorder or unavailable we will reach out to you via e-mail or telephone. If your item(s) are available for immediate shipment (as per the shipping time specified on the product page) we will submit the order for shipment.
Our items generally ship within two to three business days on non-customized items. Please note that we only offer free shipping to shipping locations within the continental United States. For customers outside of the continental United States, we offer free shipping to a freight forwarding port or airport within the geographical continental United States. The customer would be responsible for shipping outside of the continental United States.
ORDER SHIPMENT
If your order is in stock and we process the charges to your credit card it will usually ship within the time frame specified on the product page. We will send you tracking information within 24 hours of your order leaving the warehouse to the e-mail address your provide when checking out. If you do not receive tracking information from us within six business days of your order feel free to follow up with us at support@betterpatio.com
All larger shipments are curb-side shipments, unless noted and will ship via freight carrier. The shipment will require a signature at the time of delivery. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, we cannot be held responsible for damages that may occur during delivery.
Once a shipment is in the hands of the delivery company, we are not able to change shipping addresses. Additionally, we cannot make a delivery happen on a certain day, and we can only approximate delivery times based on what the delivery company makes available to us. We wish we could have more control over shipments.
If an item is shipped and returned because it is not deliverable due to an incorrect address, or the customer is unable to accept the item for any reason, the customer will be responsible for shipping both ways. Orders for larger items that must ship freight require the shipping company to contact the customer prior to delivery. If the product is returned because the freight company could not reach the customer, this will be considered a return, and the order will be subject to our regular return policies.
FREIGHT SHIPPING
Freight shipping is used only when orders are oversized. The standard Freight shipping delivery method is typically called “curbside delivery. Curbside delivery is the method used on all our freight shipments unless other arrangements are made.
The delivery company should give you a call a day or two ahead of time to schedule and confirm the delivery timeframe. If the customer cannot accept delivery within 5 business days of being notified, storage fees may incur and will be payable prior to delivery.
Your delivery will be made with a full-size Semi-Truck ranging from 20 to 53 feet in length. The truck will not be a box truck like a UPS or FedEx truck. The driver is only obligated to deliver curbside at the end of your driveway. It will be your responsibility to move it from there.
If your destination is hard-to-reach, or trucks have trouble accessing your driveway, additional delivery fees may apply and/or you will be responsible for making alternate arrangements.
In some cases, drivers will deliver up your driveway when possible, but it is up to them to decide. They may help, but are not obligated to assist once the freight is off the truck. If the truck does not have a lift gate, you would be responsible for getting the item off the back of the semi-truck.
30 days to return new, unused, unassembled items in original packaging. Custom and made-to-order items are not returnable. Orders cancelled after 48 hours carry a 20 percent restocking fee.

Damages:
Please inspect the packaging of your item(s) when they arrive, if you notice any damage you should make note of it when signing for delivery. If your item(s) do arrived damaged please send photos to Customercare@Betterpatio.com and we will process an insurance claim on your behalf.
Cancellations & Refunds:
All orders cancelled after 48 hours are subject to a 20% restocking fee whether or not your order has shipped. If you order has shipped, you (the buyer) will also be responsible for actual return shipping charges plus the original shipping costs incurred by betterpatio.com. BetterPatio LLC reserves the right to cancel an order.
Refunds will only be issued to the original credit card that you use when placing your order. All products are eligible for return within 30 days of delivery on condition that they are new, unused, unassembled, and resalable items in their original packaging.
There are no returns on custom made/made to order items.
Every unit carries its full manufacturer warranty, registered in your name at the time of purchase.
If you ever need to file a claim, call us at 866-412-1555 and we handle it with the manufacturer for you rather than sending you off to a support queue. Warranty length and coverage vary by brand and model, so ask your designer for the specifics on the unit you are considering.
Shop Pay Installments are available at checkout, so a full outdoor kitchen can be spread across monthly payments instead of paid up front.
You will see your available plans and the monthly figure at checkout before you commit to anything.
Inspect the packaging before you sign for delivery. If you see damage, note it on the delivery paperwork, take photos, and email them to support@betterpatio.com the same day.

Does it arrive assembled?
Yes. Prefab islands ship fully built on a pallet. You are connecting gas and power, not laying block.
What hookups do I need?
Most islands need a natural gas or propane line and a standard outlet for lights and refrigeration. Send us a photo before you order and a designer will confirm exactly what your build needs.
Can I change the layout, finish or appliances?
Yes. Stone, stucco, countertop and appliance choices are all configurable. That is what the free 3D design is for: you approve the exact build before anything is fabricated.
How is something this big delivered?
By freight on a liftgate truck with a scheduled appointment. White glove placement is available if you would rather not move it yourself.
