Choosing the right outdoor kitchen countertops is the final step in creating a professional-grade cooking space. Better Patio offers a selection of high-durability surfaces designed to handle the unique challenges of the outdoors. From extreme heat to freezing winters, our countertops provide a stable and beautiful area for food prep and serving. A quality countertop does more than just look good; it provides a sanitary, easy-to-clean surface that makes outdoor entertaining a breeze. Complete your kitchen with a surface that is as tough as it is elegant.
Not all stones or surfaces can survive outside. Our collection focuses on non-porous and heat-resistant materials that won't crack or fade over time.
Outdoor surfaces are exposed to direct sunlight and fluctuating temperatures. We select materials that maintain their integrity regardless of the climate.
Every surface in our collection is chosen for its ease of care. You can spend more time cooking and less time scrubbing or resealing your counters.
A great countertop must accommodate your grill, sink, and side burners perfectly. Our surfaces are designed to be easily customized for a professional fit.

Granite and Porcelain are widely considered the best options. They are dense, heat-resistant, and won't fade in the sun. Unlike quartz, which contains resins that can yellow under UV light, these natural and sintered stones remain beautiful for years.
Natural stones like granite should be sealed once a year to prevent staining from oils and food. However, materials like porcelain and stainless steel are non-porous and never require sealing.
While granite and porcelain are very heat-resistant, we always recommend using a trivet. Rapid temperature changes (thermal shock) can occasionally cause stress fractures in any stone surface.
For most surfaces, mild dish soap and warm water are all you need. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or bleach, which can dull the finish of natural stone over time.
Our collection features UV-stable materials. High-quality granite and porcelain slabs are engineered to withstand direct sunlight without losing their color or structural integrity.
