Should a repair be necessary, photographs and proof of the defect is required for replacement and/or repair. Please contact your Pelican Reef sales representative for an inspection promptly after receiving the product if a problem is evident. This warranty does not cover freeze damage within the frames. Any indication of abnormal or abusive use of the product will void this warranty. Pelican Reef does not recommend that furniture be placed in an upside down position, as water may seep through the drain holes. Teak weathering process takes place when left outside will form a silver-gray patina and takes place after a few months depending on the amount of rain and sun exposure. If you prefer to keep the teak golden color, we recommend using a teak protector which is purely a cosmetic application and will need to be reapplied seasonally. Warranty is void for any of the following conditions: Improper maintenance or improper use resulting in damage. Any product modifications by dealer, consumer, or other parties not authorized by Pelican Reef Floor samples sold or products designated “as is” at the time of purchase are not covered by the warranty. Warranty does not cover minor variations or differences between floor samples or printed illustrations and the actual merchandise received. The cost of packaging and shipping to and from Pelican Reef is not covered by the warranty unless expressly arranged by Pelican Reef. This warranty covers only articles of furniture intended for residential use. It does not apply to damage from industrial, commercial, institutional, or rental use. Curbside freight with a liftgate. The truck unloads at the end of your driveway. The driver is not able to bring it round the back or inside.
Moving it from there is on you. Local movers typically charge $400 to $600 for the last stretch. Piano movers and handyman services both do this work regularly.
Measure before you order. Check your gate width and side access against the line drawings. It is far cheaper to find a problem now than on delivery day.
Inspect before you sign. Count the pallets and note any damage on the delivery receipt before signing. Photograph anything questionable, refuse delivery if there is visible damage, and send us photos within 48 hours.
All orders ship with damage insurance. If something arrives damaged we file the freight claim with the carrier on your behalf and arrange the replacement, so you are not chasing it.
